Koi Pond Predators

If you have a koi pond. Make sure your fish are protected.

Via Larry Brewer Nashville real estate (Keller Williams - Franklin tn):

koi pondNashvile real estate - Something I had never thought of, but some of my clients need to know. If you have a KOI pond, you have keep the predators away. Your pets could be a meal for many bird or mammals. Here are a few things that were passed to me from Tranquil Waterscapes.

A few ideas to help keep the predators at bay.

Koi Kastle
- Koi hide inside to protect themselves from predators
- Provides shade on sunny days
- Aluminum frame and fiberglass mesh
- Sits on the bottom of the pond

ScareCrow
- Motion activated sprinkler instantly releases a short but startling burst of water when it detects an animal, scaring them away
- Works day and night for up to 4 months on a single battery
- Sprays up to 35 feet
- Requires garden hose hookup and one 9-volt alkaline battery, not included.

Aqua Net
- 3/8" Mesh
- Protects against predators
- Ideal for keeping leaves and debris out of the pond
- Keeps new fish from jumping out
- Complete with durable metal anchor pins
- UV treated for longer life
- Available in 3 sizes (7' x 10', 14' x 20', 28' x 30')

Just remember: If your koi are hiding more than normal or are hesitant to surface when being fed, you may have a predator problem!

Brentwood and Franklin Schools - A Real Estate Option

Brentwood schools are the best in the stae, but some of the schools in Franklin are getting close. It really helps the resale value to live in a good school zone.

Via Larry Brewer Nashville real estate (Keller Williams - Franklin tn):

Brentwood Real Estate - It's July, and a time when some families are making a decision that will impact them for the rest of their lives. Where will their children go to school?

We all know that the schools we attend as a child form the foundation of education that carry over into our years of college and beyond.  Here in middle Tennessee, we have the opportunity to send our children to some of the best schools in the country.

What's the cost you might ask? Nothing, nada, zero, It cost no more to send your children to Brentwood or Franklin schools than it does to go to any other school in the Nashville area. it may even save you money. Do the homes cost more? Sometimes, but a home is an investment, and in most cases, you get your money back, and more when you sell your home.

Homes in good school zones have higher than average resale value because of higher demand. The real question for most people is which school do you want your child to attend. Now is the time to decide. Does an excellent education matter? You already know the answer.

The numbers on the right are based on TCAP scores from 2008. A lot of schools in the Brentwood and Franklin area score 30 to 40 percent higher than the schools in Davidson county. What does that mean on a college entrance exam.

Call me if you are ready for a move. Larry Brewer 615-512-7853

June real estate sales for Brentwood Tn

Brentwood tn real estate is starting to pick up just like the rest of williamson county. The great deals we've seen early in the year seem to have disappeared. In the higher price ranges, you still have a great selection, but all of Brentwood is now seeing a lot of activity.

Via Larry Brewer Nashville real estate (Keller Williams - Franklin tn):

Brentwood tn real estateBrentwood tn Real Estate - Homes sales in the month of June continue to improve in Brentwood, and if the momentum says with us, we should be back to a neutral market soon. Right now, the pending sales seem to be telling us that summer is going to be much better than the spring, and considerble better than winter.

With school starting in just a little over a month, some families need to get the purchase done so that they can enroll their children in the schools fo their choice. With Brentwood schools being nationally ranked, and considered by most experts to be the best in Tennessee, the families who want their children in the best schools are finding the deals of a lifetime in Brentwood.

The value of a waterfall

Green Hills has many luxury properties. As my clients were saying, this is the best opportunity to buy quality real estate that they have seen in years.

Via Larry Brewer Nashville real estate (Keller Williams - Franklin tn):

pool and waterfallNashville real estate - While showing homes to a client from another state, we came out to the back yard of what appeared to be an average million dollar home in Green Hills. behind the house, along with mature tress and a great covered porch was a spectacular pool, hot tub and waterfall.

It seemed like the thing to do was to have a seat by the waterfall and just listen. Any stress we may have had disappeared at that moment. I would recommend it for anyone with a little extra money to spend.
