Brentwood schools are the best in the stae, but some of the schools in Franklin are getting close. It really helps the resale value to live in a good school zone.

Brentwood Real Estate - It's July, and a time when some families are making a decision that will impact them for the rest of their lives. Where will their children go to school?
We all know that the schools we attend as a child form the foundation of education that carry over into our years of college and beyond. Here in middle Tennessee, we have the opportunity to send our children to some of the best schools in the country.
What's the cost you might ask? Nothing, nada, zero, It cost no more to send your children to Brentwood or Franklin schools than it does to go to any other school in the Nashville area. it may even save you money. Do the homes cost more? Sometimes, but a home is an investment, and in most cases, you get your money back, and more when you sell your home.
Homes in good school zones have higher than average resale value because of higher demand. The real question for most people is which school do you want your child to attend. Now is the time to decide. Does an excellent education matter? You already know the answer.
The numbers on the right are based on TCAP scores from 2008. A lot of schools in the Brentwood and Franklin area score 30 to 40 percent higher than the schools in Davidson county. What does that mean on a college entrance exam.
